Bristol Bay drift permits are moving steadily around the $130,000 mark, and EMTs are starting to kick off with leases at $14,000-$15,000. Bristol Bay set net EMTs are going for $8,500. Southeast power troll permits are hanging out around $18,000-$20,000. Cook Inlet drift sales have slowed down as fishermen await news on the State vs. Federal government battle. Buyers who plan to work with the State of Alaska or CFAB for permit financing before the 2024 salmon season should consider getting an early start, as that process can take a fair amount of time. 

Southeast's winter king troll fishery is poppin' off, with nearly 40,000 kings caught since the October 1 opener. That's 133% more than this time last year.
